Dance Without Gravity
#1964

Dance Vertical proposes dance performances on walls that become stages. The space itself (the building, the tower, the square ..) affects the development of creation as it determines the uniqueness of the action in relation to the place in which it takes place. Using ropes, harnesses, descenders, the performers fell a perceived lack of gravity using contemporary dance as movement technique.

From the collaboration between artist, dancer and choreographer who practices vertical dance since 2003, the project is part of an artistic process that mix together research on body movement and sound, video, space as site specific. Their performance can involve from one dancer to 6.
